A CDE is not a single test or questionnaire. The evaluation process is individualized — the specific assessment instruments, clinical interviews, observations, and collateral sources used will vary depending on the referral question, the individual's age, clinical presentation, and relevant history.

Trinity CMHC also provides therapy and psychiatric services, allowing clients to explore treatment options within the organization when appropriate. Clients are not required to continue treatment at Trinity following an evaluation.
